genuine intercessors & prayer warriors who make a genuine difference in the realm between heaven & earth; between the Plans of the Lord to deliver Life and life in abundance & the plans of the enemy to (only) steal, kill and destroy,
Whether our human prayer is tangibly felt or evidenced in the moment is not always the measure, because prayer works in the unseen realm alongside the mystery of His Hand and the mystery of His divine Will.
Isaiah 50, the Lord presents the question: is His hand so short that it cannot save? He also declares that He is well able to judge, rescue and administer Justice.
The fight is always for the “human heart”. Will the human heart respond even as Christ would. Will it choose life over death; kindness over meanness; mercy over condemnation; grace over judgment; forgiveness over unforgiveness; goodness over evil; Light over darkness. The list could go on forever.
And then of course, the delivering hand of God is never far. My husband always taught the biblical principle that there are indeed things we must all “overcome”, and then there are things where the “delivering hand of the Almighty” is the only path of rescue and redemption.
So why this post? Because prayer matters & declaration of divine truth matters, and whilst one or two would like to gag me in this space, the Spirit of God says — “write daughter, write”.
So right now any number of verses within the timeless Word will work. Choose your own, but here is one declaration in Isaiah 50 from the Lord himself. Echo his words into your own spirit and the atmosphere that surrounds you :
“Who is among you who [reverently] fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His Servant, yet who walks in darkness and deep trouble and has no shining splendor [in his heart]? LET HIM rely on, trust in, and be confident in the name of the Lord, and let him lean upon and be supported by his God.”
Isaiah 50:10 AMPC
Love you. Don’t let anyone or anything sabotage the “shining splendor” of His Presence in your heart.
